"We had an overnight stay before boarding our ship the next day. Parking for me was great and complimentary but I do think there is a charge normally. At reception we were met and our cases were taken care of by the porters, receptionists x 3 were at hand for booking in. We had booked a standard room So I asked if we could upgrade and was given a superior room with balcony and views of the Solent and cheap as chips. Our cases were in the room as we got there No struggle. The bed was a king...

"Beautiful harbour-side hotel with lovely views. Excellent spa. My only niggle is that the architect over-complicated the lighting system. Our room had 9 light switches (excluding the one for the bathroom) and it was impossible for us to turn off the dimmed light in the entrance hall area - no matter what switch combo we tried. My son and his gf had the same issue in their room. "

"Would def stay again. Note that there is no AC in this hotel. They do provide a fan but it was quite warm even with. Kudos for doing their best given the heat. Stayed here for one night prior to cruising — can walk to cruise ship from hotel no problem. Lots of things to in the area. Very close to Southampton central station as well. "

"We cannot say enough good things about this place! We stayed there for one night before our cruise and one night after our cruise. The staff was super nice and accommodating, stored our luggage so we could explore the town. The restaurant was delicious and the rooms were spacious and clean. Taxis and Ubers are readily available and fThe hotel itself was walking distance to great restaurants and shopping and tours… we will not stay anywhere else when we return!"

"It was July and there is no AC, seriously uncomfortable. But, besides that everything was good. Close to the port if you're going on a cruise. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and a large mall. "

"Nice property but unfortunately the night we stayed there was a prom and we were put in a room opposite the dance room so not ideal with an early start the next day. Pool and steam room were ok and only stayed one night. Great Indian restaurant close by called Raja. Very good!"
