While the place itself is lovely, the hot water tank was broken and they had random construction workers walk through our room without knocking unexpectedly. If they had actually fixed the hot water tank that would have been fine but they did not even attempt to. There was little or no real communication from the host. An apology or even the slightest effort to accommodate or communicate would have gone a long way. Would happily reccomend to anyone I don’t like.

Extremely comfortable apartment and bed in the perfect area; great soundproof windows but unfortunately very loud creaky ceiling. Fantastic spot but would be even better without upstairs neighbors!

There is no sign or any way of knowing where the property is, and, it feels like you are going thru a back of house service garage to enter the building. Lights didn’t work in the entry area once you have gone thru some strange doors off the street which felt dangerous. We basically had to walk thru darkness until you find stairs. Checkout said 11:00 on Travelocity site, but cleaners were there at 10:00 and berated us for not being out by 10:00. This was not a good experience. Also room smelled of mold. Rooms were generously large and interesting as one positive.

Very good location
The apartment location is perfect, in front of the church, at the main street. The apartment is very comfortable, the only thing that I didn't like it was the shower.

Perfect Located Apartment in Zadar
The studio aparment is great located in the old town of Zadar everything can be found walking distance. The place is very comfortable and communication with the host is great. The internet connection works perfectly and ameneties are on point. I would book again this place in my next trip to Zadar

It has the potential to improve
The room was good, in a lovely location. The bathroom was clean and good. Τhe mattress was clogged on one side. There was a stain on the curtain of the bed. The window covers did not work. There was noise at night, as expected, but it stopped at 12 o'clock.

Fab Location, Stylish Suite
Fabulous room - the view was really cool and I loved having a French balcony (reason why I chose this place). There were all the necessary essentials including a kettle, mini fridge, even hair conditioner (trust me, it’s rare to find in Europe even in hotels). I don’t want to complain but there were a couple maintenance issues that should be addressed such as the switch from the handheld shower and the rainfall shower, as well as the table side lamp (the switch didn’t work). But wasn’t much of an inconvenience compared to the bigger picture. Location was amazing. Also, being out of season, there weren’t too many real breakfast options (talking things like eggs etc) in the city but I found that a place called Coffee & Cake had a rather satisfying menu. And anyone who needs a laundry will find a self-service place just half a block away to the north. Highly recommend this place and would stay again for sure!

Beautiful antique room with view over the Old Town square. Hard to find - it is not well indicated, even in the stair cage. In fact you have to go up the stairs to the first floor to get there. The entrance to the building is near a coffee shop. More hangers for towels and clothes would be an improvement. But in general - it's a gem!

I loved my six night stay here. It's not a standard hotel with a front desk or housekeeping, but I didn't expect them. This is a rennovated room in a medieval building, with a comfortable bed, lots of closet space, a nice bathroom with a great shower, a huge window with a breathtaking view, and unbeatable location for bus, taxi, private shuttle, or rental car parking, walking access to Zadar's Old Town, and the cruise ship dock. Tereza was always very friendly and helpful when I needed something, or if we just ran into each other. The room was beautiful and clean, the air conditioner has a white noise feature that sounds like the ocean, and with the window closed, the sounds from outside didn't bother me, even all day church bells on Sunday. I felt very safe and relaxed during my stay, and I loved the convenience of a short walk back to my room from my Old Town sightseeing, especially if I needed a nap or just to drop off things I'd bought. I will happily stay here again in the future!

Good place to stay, but need to contact owner
The place is located right downtown in the old town - very central. We had a little trouble reaching the owner and had to wait to get to the room. Which probably was the biggest minus. Other than that, our stay was great! I would recommend to change the pillows - too bulky. Need to have a phone to contact the owner, probably the only con.

It was a great stay in a great location. My room was exactly what i needed. Luxurious; I wouldn't quite say so but standards on "luxury" are different for everyone. The room was great and much better than a standard hostel. Location was perfect. My room didn't have a view of anything special, but that didn't matter. No noise when i slept, and the woman who checked me in was extremely nice. There's no reception, which is fine, so you must be able to contact via phone the person on your reservation in order to "check in".

The rooms are smaller and in poorer condition than they appear in the pictures. The windows are single and it is noisy at night. It is a nice place, but not luxury.

The photos do not match the room you will find, as it was far from a luxury room. Breakfast was outside in a coffee shop with very limited options. Room was not clean every day.

Luxery war nur der Preis… sind nur 3 Zimmer ohne Restaurant. Läuft alles über WhatsApp, habe niemandenangetroffen, tv funktionierte nicht, wurde auch nicht nachgeschaut trotz 4 Tage Aufenthalt. Einzi gute ist die Lage mitten in der Altstadt!

Super beliggenhet, fint rom, om enn ikke luksus.
Utrolig flott beliggenhet og rom med fin design. Men "luxury", er det nok ikke. Litt vanskelig å finne da inngangsdøren bak bordene på uteserveringen ikke er merket. Innenfor er det en rotete mørk gang men om man våger seg opp trappen ser det straks bedre ut. All informasjon stemmer heller ikke, det finnes ingen resepsjon (og følgelig ingen safe der), ingen heis, og tilknytningen til restauranten utenfor virker ikke åpenbar. Ingen avis kom de to dagene jeg var der og det kan nok også diskuteres om det ligger "nær stranden". Men mer sentralt kan man nesten ikke bo i Zadar, og rommet fungerer bra. Dessuten bare 5 min fra stopp for flybussen.

We booked and paid the Luxury Rooms Contessa Vitali (***, 35 m2, city view) in TGR SV. STOSIJE 4, Zadar, for two nights at the end of August 2021. Upon our arrival, Mr. Dali brought us to an apartment in Ul. Hrvoja Vukčića Hrvatinića 8, Zadar, which is about 350 meters away from our originally booking. We were really shocked as we entered the apartment. The apartment was obviously not what we have booked, neither the location nor the furnishing. The furnitures are not only old fashioned, they also smelled old. Not even my grandma will like it. And it only has a view to a dark backyard. We asked for our room and showed him the pics from the Hotels.com. Mr. Dali keep saying that this would be the room that we booked and this was the only free apartment they had. We were so tired to argue with him and we told him that we will clarify this right now with Hotels.com. Then he suddenly mentioned that there’s a water piping problem in our originally booked room. The person, whom Hotels.com talked with, told Hotels.com that we have an offer for upgrading to a ****-apartment, which is new renovated, and we did reject it. WHAT?? Thanks Hotels.com for canceling our booking. We were able to book another hotel on the spot. This hotel was so helpful to check us in even after the regular check in time. It’s already 22:30, we were so exhausted after these 4 hours drama. PS: The Luxury Rooms Contessa Vitali (***, 35 m2, city view) was still available in Hotels.com on the

Super accueil, lieu parfait et richement décoré
Chambre au 1er étage donnant directement sur la place de la cathédrale : emplacement parfait! La propriétaire vient vous chercher pour vous amener les clés dans la rue jusque tard le soir (nous sommes arrivés à 23h) et reste joignable via Whatsapp. Nous avons eu la plus belle chambre avec une déco digne d'un château et une salle de bain magnifique. Rien à redire!

酒店政策说的10点要提前通知，我晚上7点多到没有通知，按谷歌地图找到位置，楼下所有入口房门紧闭，楼上无灯光，转了几圈，只能去附近另找酒店

위치가 좋습니다
렌트카로 이동할 경우 자다르는 머리가 좀 아픈 도시입니다. 주차장이 확보된 숙박시설도 드물고 주차장도 멀리 있는 경우가 많습니다. 콘테사 비탈리는 가까운곳에 자다르에서 가장 넓은 주차장이 있습니다. 위치도 성당, 유명한 젤라또 가계와 붙어있어 아주 훌륭합니다. 다만 오래된 도시의 건물을 수리해서 쓴다고 양해하더라도 좀 불만인 점은 건물에서 창을 열면 쓰레기장에 가까운 방치된 공간이 보인다는 점, 1층 현관에서 숙소로 올라가는 1층 복도가 숙박시설이라고 보기 어려울 정도로 으슥하고 관리가 안되어 있다는 점입니다.
