"Lovely hotel decor and feel of elegance. Reception staff were friendly. Room was small but adequate, looked out to other windows but that was the room rate i chose. Chose the buffet breakfast booked through hotels.com $32/2 people which i thought was good. Lady serving there was very friendly in her greeting of people. Also had an included bottle of white wine. Convenient to trams, flinders street station, federation square, heaps of cafes plus coles supermarket"

"From the first moment, service was friendly and efficient. Check-in was seamless. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. The sink was separate to the bathroom, with no door to the sink area. Breakfast was great. Evening meals were very good, although there was a hiccup with our dessert (mudcake) coming 3/4 frozen after a long period of time. The bar staff were tardy in coming to customers waiting to be seated. All in all a great place and we would come again."
