"Check-in process was terrible. It took me several hours on the phone while away in Japan to get the instructions to access the property. E-mail with instructions was never delivered. Not even the Hotels.com rep was able to get assistance on the phone from the property manager."

"My husband and I would come back here in a heartbeat. We were blown away with the breaktfast and dinner each day. We were so stuffed and impressed by the presentation. We booked the private baths without any issues and we were lucky that each time it was available for us. The staff was so nice and welcoming. They picked us up from the train station and drove us to the closest bus station on our free day in Hakone, we thought that was very helpful because walking to the station would be impossible. "

"We arrived to Hyatt regency hakone and were immediately escorted in and were told they were waiting for us. From that moment on, it was nothing but first class treatment from the entire staff. It was an incredible experience and the staff experience alone should make people run here in droves!! It sadly rained (4.5 inches in one day alone) while we were there but the staff was always helpful with information, alternative advice, and wonderful smiles. Would definitely recommend as they went above and beyond. "
