"It is an incredible place where you can truly relax and disconnect from the world; everything was amazing—a place filled with peace and tranquility. The staff is very friendly and professional, the food is incredible, and we will definitely be coming back."
"I love this place! The view to the lagoon from the rooms is amazing. The place is clean and well maintained. Housekeepers and receptionists were nice and helpful. If you need transportation to different points in the area receptionist can call a 🚖 for you. Taxis charge $60 Mexican pesos to take you anywhere (Roughly $4dls) one way anywhere in Bacalar. As far as the downside the rooms are small, we were 4 people in one tiny 2 double bedroom and beds are a little to hard for me. Although they have a beautiful terrace to eat breakfast and the breakfast is good they have limited items, However, there are places nearby to eat a good meal. El Timon Restaurant is next door and has a variety of meals but doesn't open until noon. They have Kayaks and bicycles for rent at a fair price. If you're driving they have a closed garage. Overall, Aakal Lagoon is a great place to stay if you're looking for fair prices and location convenience."
"4 horas manejando desde el Aeropuerto de Cancún, exelente carretera, solo un peaje (lleva efectivo).
La cabaña con muelle privado espectacular, los tour en lancha se pueden reservar en el hotel y salir desde su muelle privado, exelente comida, personal muy amable.
Saludos 🇨🇴"
Cristalino Lagoon Front Hotel Restaurant & SPA - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"The good: the staff were super friendly and helpful; the breakfasts and desserts were great; and the location on the lagoon was perfect. The not-so-good: the resort pools need to be repaired (peeling floors) and the whole property could use an update and some TLC."
"La entrada de la carretera al hotel está muy fea. En el hotel hay extremadamente muchos mosquitos por la vegetación, imprescindible llevar repelente.
El hotel es muy bonito."
"Very nice and quiet hotel.
If you want peace, this is the place with no TV but excelent WiFi
Breakfast is included and it is more than complete and delicious.
Very good experience for me and my family.
All personnel is very kind and in the restaurant the service is awesome."
