"Room with a very beautiful view. Very tranquil. It’s across the other side of the lake so you would have to take transport (ferry / bus) over to the hotel after arriving at sun moon lake. However, the neighbourhood around the hotel has a nice atmosphere. Recommended! It’s our favourite accoms this trip. "

"The Block House exceeded expectations. The staff was so friendly, it felt like staying at a dear friend’s house, a really nice house, like the house from Parasite. Every morning, the staff prepared a beautiful western breakfast and every afternoon, tea and cake. On our last day, we had to leave early and the staff prepared our breakfast ‘to go’ and placed it in our fridge. One of the best overnight experiences we’ve had due to the attentiveness of the service."

"We read other reviews about getting to the B&B from public transportation and then walking as well as bringing food for dinner which we found to be extremely helpful. The property is quaint and beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Our room was the “Lemongrass” room and it was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. The B&B provided delicious breakfast with tea/ coffee for the mornings. The location is also very close to a sunrise viewing point....

The owner told me that they never had a king size bed. the information online was false!! the room is tiny as well. Please do yourself a favor and DON'T book here. "
