"My room overlooking the village's central area provided interesting views into local life. Breakfast was available at the hotel's modest restaurant across the street. Helpful staff showed me the ingredients so I could build my own breakfast since I could not complete their Chinese language menu. The bathroom had its own onsen tub, so I did not use the spa."
"Service staff are above and beyond in making sure we feel welcomed and at home. The entire hotel feels semi-outdoor with tons of open walls and huge windows. Despite this unique environmental set up, the hotel remained super clean and well maintained. Impressive. Room is clean and the belcony is truly one of its kind. "I loved our family room with the loft; very clean and cozy and we had our own balcony with a beautiful view of the tea plantation. The hot pot restaurant was amazing with delicious fresh veggies and was a lovely way to end the day after hiking in the misty forest. The view of sunset from the hot pot restaurant was absolutely stunning! My only reservation would be for elderly travelers as there are stairs and some steep pathways- they would need some assistance with luggage and walking. Breakfast was delicious! I’m so grateful we stayed here. Thank you! "
