"The room was a good size and spotless, however, the walls are very thin and I was kept awake until 2am by two men talking moderately loudly in the room behind my room. Furthermore, the mattress Ned’s changing as it has two long depressions where occupants lay and a high ridge running the length of the bed. The tv was claimed to be ‘smart’ but was really dump, it struggled to get BBC1 and no streaming services were available. Very disappointing."

"Pre-booked dinner for 2000. On arrival at hotel at 1830 nothing known. Only available table was 1845 so went straight to dinner. All evening there were empty tables near me so I could easily have had a later booking. When I went up to my room reported this to reception. Was promised a response. Nothing heard. Frequently stay at this hotel."

"The woman sitting at a tiny table with a laptop got every room mixed up, I ended up in a family room with my sibling, my 2 elderly great aunts were put in a double and my great uncle ended up in a single room which was in the attic, she had no idea and obviously gave the rooms to all the wrong people despite me showing her my booking! The whole place smelt damp and was dirty throughout, the beds were disgusting as was everything else, couldn't wait to get out of that horrible old rundown awful...

"The floor in our bedroom creaks alarmingly when walked on. My concern was not for safety, as I am quite sure it is safe, but I felt extremely embarrassed about the noise being heard downstairs! When unpacking and repacking I needed to keep going in and out of the bed area and around and around the. Ed many times and the noise it makes is horrendous. "Nice hotel, very practical and has everything you need. Had to pay for parking as we didn’t book directly. Staff ok - lady at bar lovely. Pool’s a bit tired too but great to have one. Weren’t allowed to buy from children’s menu unless we bought an adult meal - which seemed like a missed opportunity to make some money for the hotel. "
