White Horse Pike Hotels with Indoor Pool

"I have been to Atlantic City more times then I can count. This was my second stay at Golden Nugget and I highly recommend! Atlantic City hotel rooms are not very clean in my experience, however this hotel clearly takes the time to not only clean, but wipe down surfaces. I bring my own wipes, and clean the room every time I travel anywhere, and after wiping down the whole room, my wipe was literally still clean. Also, drinks at the casino are wayyy stronger then other places. Check in staff could have been nicer, but over all this is my go to in Atlantic City. So much more affordable then other hotels, clean, and far from the boardwalk drama. Its not a real "party" hotel, and has a bit of an older crowd, which it totally fine by me. After a quick visit to Tropicana, I was happy to leave and come back to Golden Nugget. "

"Clean room, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave in room, large bathroom, indoor pool and hot tub at hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and had great variety. Plenty of parking. "

"Everything looked over worn. The rooms need to be renovated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. No security personnel before taking the elevators to the rooms. Upon taking a shower, we let the water run for about 10 minutes the water never got hot it stayed warm. when checking out they charged us more money than anticipated, because we booked with Expedia and they mentioned that if we booked ahead, we would not pay anything at the hotel. In other words, everything would be covered. When we checked out, they charged us an additional $45.00. I went to the check-out desk to dispute the charges the representative indicated that we did not read the fine print. Therefore, we had to pay that amount. It was unfair, because I read everything before making the reservation and we still had to pay the charges. "
