"Tired, old property, buffet dinner overcooked, soggy, poor replenishment, limited salads, no dessert 1hr+ before closing, not worth the cost. AC in room loud. Shower in bath, no walk in shower. Ended up eating down the road at Eastwood"

"The overall location was nice, pretty quiet, other than the cyclone outside but that wasn’t their fault. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice as well! We used the hot tub and it was nice and hot despite the winds. We would stay here again if in the area! "

"This was a wonderful accommodation. My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. The views were incredible. Sadly it rained a lot so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful grounds. Star the manager could not be any nicer. Anything we wanted she was there to get it for us. Our rooms were cleaned daily and amazing snack drawer was filled. Refrigerator was filled with drinks and replenished daily. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Much better than standard continental breakfasts normally...

"The ensuite room we stayed in had lovely views out over Rotorua and was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The hosts Dave and Shami were very welcoming with plenty of suggestions for things to do in the local area. Breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of meats, cheeses and chutneys as well as different types of bread and an excellent fresh fruit salad. The location is a little outside the centre of Rotorua but provided a great base for exploring the area."

"Stayed one night at Millennium Rotorua with the family. The location is definitely the best part — very close to Polynesian Spa and only about a 10-minute walk to the shops and restaurants. But honestly, the hotel itself just felt like a basic room for a very high price. I really don’t understand why many hotels in New Zealand lack simple standard amenities that are common in Asia. No complimentary toothbrush, no bottled water — just the room and that’s it. Also poor quality bedding. so old and...
