"Place was conveniently located, close to centre town and cultural activities centres, close to buses. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Nice to have access to laundry facilities, $2NZ for each a washer and dryer. Room had a nice big kitchen with gaz burners. Liked that staff brought fresh towels, coffee, etc in the morning and left it on a chair outside our room. We noted that the room looked fatigued and needed a bit of refreshing. Carpet appeared dirty. The room would also need painting. Bedcovers/ bedspreads very used and blah. "

"Satyam checked us in and he was very helpful. We had 3 rooms booked. He was ready with our keys and even recognised us by our name when we walked in. That felt so personalised. One of our rooms was on 2nd floor and he helped us with our luggage when he was just passing by and saw my girls bringing their bags up. Room was very clean Had Nespresso coffee maker. There was a microwave and a refrigerator and a stove with kitchen appliances and cookware. They have a swimming pool as well. No elevators because it’s a vintage property. Well kept Has a ballroom We didn’t try breakfast buffet as it had minimal veggie options. But we had food ordered for evening and it was very tasty."
