"Booked for two nights, double room - pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a mini suite (Room 4, ground floor). Very handy as I am disabled. Amazing quality, touches to detail, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast was fab (ham, cheese, smoked salmon, cereals, croissants, milk, OJ etc - all high quality). No hesitation in HIGHLY recommending Grosvenor Lodge x"

"The only complaint I have is the TV in our room - changing channels and getting subtitles (as I and my wife are profoundly deaf) was difficult but was made a little better after batteries in the remote controller were replaced. Apart from that, everything else was satisfactory!"

"I found my room very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. It has been a very long time since I have had to go out of my room for the loo or a shower but it’s not hard to get used to it again. My only issue is that having seen a laundry basket opposite my door I thought that I was supposed to strip the bed which I did and found stained pillows and badly torn duvet. Didn’t "

"really pleased, very comfortable and staff were great. Food was very nice (especially the breakfast). Only slight issue is the room was quite cold but did eventually warm up with the air con unit. There was a note saying new windows are being put in though and it was -2 outside"

"This is quite THE best Bed and Breakfast we have stayed in and has resulted in this, our 2nd, visit. Standards throughout are exceptionally high and Fraser and Maria, the owners, are an absolute delight and make you feel so very welcome. We shall continue to recommend and most definitely return. "Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."
