"I really enjoyed my stay, and certainly hope to get back to this hotel very soon. The quality of food at breakfast was incredible."

"Beautiful building and grounds. Wonderful staff!"

"Outstanding and caring staff optimised our stay. Gorgeous food and it was great to chat with the owner. Suggest an EV charge point for guests would be an enhancement. There was a commercial point just a couple of miles away in town, but being able to charge overnight would save time in our day and make sure we were ready to travel around visiting the region. Only minor inconvenience was the shower: needing to be handheld is not a ‘luxury’ feature as listed - if they could be properly wall...

"Very nice stay as we have had previously and we will be going back"

"Great spot to keep close to the airport and not too far from the City."

"Its first time I visited this hotel, its was good experience and friendly staff"

"Absolutely beautiful castle! Everything so well maintained, staff knowledgeable of gluten free needs. Staff was very helpful in everything. My only thing was I didn’t have slippers in my room. Other than that our stay was absolutely fantastic."

"Close to tram station!"

"Conveniently close to the airport . Although make sure you call hotel and put your name on the shuttle to airport list before going there. Otherwise good hotel."

"Macdonald's Cardrona is looking a bit tired. Pretty well maintained, though enough cut-backs to become noticeable. The staff are very good, but have no say in the fixtures. Apparently, it is a long-term problem, which you only find out if you are involved. In the bedroom, there were no bedside power sockets; one packet of biscuits for 2 people; inadequate ceiling lighting -...

"I left two shirts behind and was able to have them delivered to my home address with the very much appreciated help of a number of staff members. I was very happy to have the shirts returned and it was all down to the staff who helped. I’m forever grateful"

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights toward the end of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is housed in an older building, but the bathrooms have been nicely updated. Overall, we found our room comfortable, although with the colder weather, it was somewhat difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. One important consideration is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs, depending on your room's location. I also had breakfast at...

"Couldn’t even go and they were rude and disgusting"

"El personal fue muy amable y atento, les recomiendo el restaurante tiene muy buen menú y creo que si lo comparas con otros del área es asequible en el precio.lo que sí recomendaría es poner una rampa para poder llegar al lobby del hotel ya que cuando entras al hotel te encuentras con unas escaleras que tienes que subir las maletas ya que no tienen maleteros, después descubrí que tienes una rampa desde el parqueo del hotel, pero si no vienes con carro te toca cargar las maletas, las muchachas del...
