"The place is clean and a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Berkeley downtown. The surrounding area is nice and one can take a convenient bus to the university. However, the hotel wing where I slept was rather dated. If you expect a shiny new hotel, this place could use some updates. It is clean but everything is quite old."

"Front desk staff was extremely helpful. There was a delay in getting into the room (it was crazy busy during graduation) - but they were kind enough to store our luggage and offer us drinks and snacks until it was ready. Additionally, when we needed to find milk off hours, they were able to help us there as well.
Parking was easy and convenient, rooms were neat and new, and the entire staff could not have been nicer. And a very decent breakfast. Location is a little bit funky, but...

"There are NOaminities. No vending machines or anyway to get a soda; no ice available. When I asked about bottled water, which I was willing to pay for, I was told to use tap water. But even if I drank tap water which I don’t, there were no cups or glasses to get the faucet water. There was an empty vitamin water bottle under one of the twin beds. The beds were about 12 inches apart. It’s a good thing it was just my daughter but I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. We stayed only one night...

"We would definitely come back here the next time we visit San Francisco. What we loved best was the hotel felt very safe, super clean, very friendly staff, garage for parking, great location, and small area for kids to play at the end. The only complaint we have is there was not a vent in the bathroom
So it got muggy after showers. Other than that it was a great place to stay."

"Even though the WiFi was not working, the staff was extremely accommodating. My early check in fee was waived as well as overnight parking and I given a free drip coffee which was really good! My room was clean but it had a light smell of smoke, however I was very pleased with the awesome bay view! The indoor pool was and jacuzzi was also nice. I had a couple glasses of prosecco which were reasonably priced."
