"We were traveling for my daughter's surgery follow up and needed a special room for her but they did not have one that would accommodate us so we were going to make do with the room we had, but upon check in, unbeknownst to us, the night clerk, TJ, had made arrangements for us to accomodate her stay. He made sure the room would work for her needs before check in and even helped us carry our luggage to our room. He went above and beyond our expectations with the service he provided. The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, and courteous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and stocked and everything was very good. They provided waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, fruit and juice. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. We can not thank them enough for making our stay as comfortable as it was and for making accommodations for us without even asking."

"GROSS pool and hot tub. There was very visible algae along the pool floor and hot tub sides. Dirty pool deck. Booked a king room with sleeper sofa. Room was very large. There was sadly hair on a bed pillow and clump on the bathroom floor. No shampoo in dispenser. Staff were friendly and there was ample parking. In spite of this, would NOT recommend."

"I always look for Embassy hotels because I like how spacious the rooms are; you can enjoy more privacy within the room. The breakfast is very good. The only thing I didn't really like about this particular hotel was that the bathtub looked dirty; it had black stains on the bottom and around the edges. I don't know if it wasn't cleaned properly or if it is simply worn out, but I didn't feel very comfortable with that. However, overall, everything else was fine."

"I checked in late (11:45 pm) so the front door was locked. I had to call the front desk to get in which was fine. Staff was friendly. When I went out to get my bags, there was a guy who rushed through to get in. He was told to leave and then stood in front of the door for several minutes. I felt like I could not safely go in so I waited. When I looked back he was gone. I was not sure where he was. I felt a little nervous walking in. The room was fine. Not the cleanest bathroom, but not horrible. I slept fine."

"Our stay was perfect! There were soccer tournaments going on in the area but all went well. Loved how the bathrooms are set up with all the counter space! We will be back!"

"Lots of yummy choices for Breakfast and the coffee - which is important to me - is always fresh. My room was clean and comfortable, and I love the giant mirror in the bathroom that has a makeup mirror light built in. I have stayed here before and will stay again. "

"It is located in a nice part of town which we appreciated. While one of the selling points for us was that it was a lower pet rate and they really are pet friendly- our room was ajar when we arrived (11pm) which was a bit unsettling. However the worst part was swinging the door open and having a wave of animal urine smell hit us in the face. Obviously we have a pet but for the pet friendly rooms to have such a strong/overwhelming/gross smell really ruined our stay. It made everything else in the room “feel” gross/dirty. A potential solution would be to NOT have carpet in pet friendly rooms or have better smell mitigation measures in place. Staff were not available- I had a family member staying in a non-pet room and smell was not a factor but they tried to contact the hotel ahead of there stay and called several times and no one answered. Staff that I saw were there occasionally and didn’t seem approachable. This was my first extended stay hotel experience and I understand there is a bit of a “lesser” experience in these types of places but smell and customer service are huge variables for me. I would not recommend- pay the extra money to stay at Holiday/Hampton Inn"

"Room wasn't very clean - washed down the bathroom door myself before I would touch it. Reserved a double bed room and they over booked so had to accept a room with a pull out couch that was not comfortable in any way. Breakfast was par. A lot of Holiday Inn Express are nice - this one could use an upgrade. "
