"We arrived late and received a wonderful and warm welcome from the owners' daughter. She made us feel so welcome after a very long day and got us checked in quickly and easily. The next morning we met the owners and both were also very warm and friendly. We had a great breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. This was most definitely the best stay we had out of the 11 hotels we stayed in on this roadtrip. If we ever come back to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, this is where we will be staying."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff was incredible and made up feel so welcome! This hotel is a great location if you want to visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber but want a bit more peace and quiet. The food was great and our room was perfect! Thank you!"

"This property was a dream!!!! You step out of the front door and into a medieval town. The parlor rooms were beautiful to sit in at night and talk about all your favorite sites of the day. The staff were great! We met Helga and she was a doll!!! The property is walking distance to all the sights. I highly recommend and would definitely revisit! "

"It was pouring rain when we arrived which was a bit challenging due to some street construction nearby. The staff member offered me an umbrella and even stood in a parking spot right out front for us so I didn't have to! Staff gave us recommendations for dining which we used and enjoyed an incredible meal in a 9th century building. The rooms were outstanding, and touches like having artifacts under plexiglass in the floor was unique. All around fabulous stay. "

"This is an excellent option if you want to spend some time in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This property is right next to the old city wall which runs around the old town and there is an entrance a few meters from the hotel entrance, and because it's not right in the heart of the old town, it's quite peaceful after sunset. The room was small (by north american standards) but definitely served the purpose. There are a lot of antique and old-world touches everywhere while being modern in places...

"Lovely hotel in a little German town, breakfast was delicious and plentiful - continental breakfast but there was bacon and eggs. Dinner was absolutely delicious can recommend the grilled trout. "

"Ein ganz nettes und zuvorkommendes Team, die Zimmer waren sauber (bis auf ein zwei Spinnenweben Reste an der Decke) und ruhig. Das Frühstück war bombastisch gut, das hatten wir so nicht erwartet Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise und haben das Hotel nur aufgrund der Nähe zur Autobahn und der Bewertung gebucht. Nach der Erfahrung werden wir auf jeden Fall noch einmal kommen und auch dir Umgebung erkunden "
