Staffs are kind and friendly. This hotel locates at the nearest area in Altstadts from railway station. If you have large suitcase from railway station, I recommend you to stay here because you don't have to pass roads of cobblestone with suitcase.

Staff were all very helpful and patient. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast had plenty of options and was well stocked. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the train and 5-15 minutes from all of the sites within the walls.

Really beautiful property, myself and another female traveller stayed here for one night and felt safe and comfortable. 10 minute walk from main train station, and then an additional 10 mins to the city center it was a really good location! Only downside for us was that the hotel offered luggage storage as we had arrived a few hours before check-in, and the luggage storage was not secure - we were instructed to essentially leave our bags unattended in the main lobby and we both weren't entirely comfortable with that. Luckily nothing happened but other than that it would have been a 10/10 stay.

great location inside the walls of old town

This hotel requires some updates to its rooms. While the lobby, restaurant, and restrooms appear fresh and modern, the rooms feature stained carpets and outdated furniture. The location is likely the main factor in the pricing, as being situated within Old Town was certainly advantageous for visiting the city and the Christmas Market. The front desk staff were neither warm nor welcoming, making us feel as though we were inconveniencing them. However, the included breakfast was enjoyable and satisfying, with the staff we encountered there being warm and pleasant.

Good location on the edge of the old town, right near the wall. Safe and convenient. Rooms were decent, clean enough, pretty basic. Staff was not friendly nor helpful, unwilling to give us basic space for our family to gather outside our rooms (3 rooms for 4 nights, thought that might warrant using an empty table in an empty room of the restaurant, but not allowed even when restaurant empty). They appeared overworked and frustrated. It was over the Christmas holiday, so that was surely part of it, but, not friendly. Breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. Restaurant was closed for other meals due to the holiday. No way to get tea or coffee outside structured breakfast hours, no access to main lobby after 9pm. Overall, a pretty basic stay that met our needs but did not go beyond that.

Great location in Rothenburg obT! Our room was very clean and had a very comfortable adjustable bed. The bathroom was the nicest bathroom that we have had yet on our trip! We would stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful town, and this hotel was a wonderful place to stay. Quiet and slightly away from the « hub » of other accommodations, it was quiet, and had easy parking. Easy walking to many restaurants and shops, and situated right next to the wall that surrounds the old city. Lovely seating area outside as well, away from the street, like a little oasis.
