"Parking is off property, only have valet on weekends, historic rooms are smaller than normal rooms, toilet was weird sounded like it was air injected. Sink faucet was low pressures, shower was hard to go from faucet to shower. Older walls and ceiling heard everything above and outside intend hall way., sounding like a wooden dance hall above our room. Other than those things the stay was okay, I would stay again in another part of the hotel. Lil pricey for standard historic rooms. "
"Super Breakfast spot in the hotel , Only thing I could comment on is the toilet seat needed tightening . Very minor inconvenience .
Staff was always helpful if you needed anything . "
"Please do not pay over $300/night to stay here. It is a worn-out, tired property with dents in the room walls, elevators and ice machines that don’t work, broken pocket doors, and patios that overlook sewer lines. The common areas and rooms need a full overhaul. The breakfast was awful and the check/in experience like a Motel 6. Not worth paying more than $125/night. I actually would accept a full refund without feeling bad. "
"This is a good place to stay. The rate is fantastic, and it is close to many places of interest to me. Checking in was a dream; the man who was there on Tuesday May 12 was kind, friendly, and helpful.
The reservations system is a problem. Tried to reserve by phone, and the rep was taking a long time, so when we were disconnected before finishing I gave up and went on line instead. The phone reservation was NOT completed and NOT confirmed.
Upon my arrival, informed that 2 reservations were made in my name. Next day my bank messaged that my card was declined (!) twice (!!) Both charges were from Motel 6, but 1 in CA, 1 in AZ. Very fishy.
My last night there was rough (not the Motel's fault) so around 5 am I called the reservation system again, to extend my stay and not worry about checkout time. The staff did NOT get that information. Housekeeping started knocking at my door while I was trying to rest (not their fault.) The manager came to my door, clearly upset, around noon. I explained that I'd extended my stay. She treated me like a criminal and did not apologize for the error. I stayed 3 hours over, and paid for a full 24 hours. It would have been nice if they'd acknowledged that, especially due to the errors between the motel and their reservation system, which resulted in my being disturbed by the staff several times. Most upsetting: 2 more declined charges from my bank, this time from Motel 6 Columbus. Would stay again, but be very wary of reservation system"
