It's so nicely redone that it doesn't feel historic, which is a shame. It's pristine. The bed was the MOST COMFORTABLE bed I've ever slept in. I do feel for the price though that parking should have been free. I parked on the street and got a parking ticket which was still cheaper than the valet. We took the bikes and it was a nice touch! The pool is amazing. The drinks are too expensive to even purchase one though.

The wonderful valet parking service and modern stylish stunning architecture immediately impressed us when we drove in the hotel lobby! The online check in was easy and just walked to the reception collected the key with champagne as refreshments. Being Expedia Platinum member and this hotel is under VIP access, we got a surprise upgrade to ocean view with balcony! Each room comes with exclusive bottle waters, wine, sodas, popcorn, salt water taffy, coffee and tea complimentary. The pool is heated overlooking the ocean with lounge chairs is a great place to chill and relax. We love the in room breakfast service and everything about this hotel! A great birthday weekend! Hope they have the loyalty program soon! We will definitely come again as this is our 2nd time visiting.

Rooms are beautiful, hotel architecture beautiful, gorgeous location, but not 5-stars. Breakfast in Low-Tide restaurant had horrible food, valet parking was a total disorganized mess, no instructions for the tv in room, hot tub had 20 people in it all times. Hotel has potential but it is new and they have to work out kinks and improve staff training to justify a five star rating.
