"Nicely renovated room! Thankfully it didn't smell as bad as the front office. I was worried during check in that the room would be smelly too but it wasn't! Bed was comfortable, room was clean and staff was nice and respectful! Had trouble with getting hot water for a shower due to the neighbors showering at the same time. Overall I would recommend and would definitely stay there again!"

"Early check in was very convenient for us. They are very pet friendly the staff gave us a do not disturb tag that informed their staff of pets inside the room. "First, this is more of a motel than a hotel as the rooms open to the outside. It also advertises a "private beach" but it is a very small area with a few chairs that leads to the bay (not the ocean). The actual beach is a several minute walk across a busy street. While they provide bikes, and surf boards, there are very few other ammenities. However, we thought the rooms were clean and maintenence was responsive to an issue we had. "To begin with, the customer service was horrible upon arrival. No way to pull up to hotel to check in without a room key, we had to park elsewhere and walk to get our key. The front desk was rude and took there time, I was in line for a really long time. Everything was outdated and dirty looking in the room, the fridge and TV didn’t work, unable to connect to internet even after paying for the WiFi service. "Room was nice and clean and hotel was perfect walking distance to our show at the bay center. We are at the restaurant and ordered a burger, kids chicken and macaroni and the appetizer dumplings. The dumplings were good, everything else was pretty bad. I would suggest eating somewhere else if you want more than just a drink."

"This is a converted church which means the rooms are not standardized and your experience might depend on which room you are assigned. The hotel has good beds and linens, but small rooms ( or some are at least) a very poor, loud, AC system, poor cleaning, very poor sound proofing of rooms. It really depends on the price point you pay. These rooms can be as much as $400. They are worth 1/2 that amount. If you are paying at that 1/2 rate, then maybe an OK proposition. For example in...
