"I had a very disappointing experience with this accommodation. When I arrived, I was unexpectedly asked to pay a holding deposit that had not been mentioned in the listing or prior communication. With no clarification or support, I was left in a difficult situation and ultimately had to find alternative accommodation at short notice. "Great stay for the price & owner Alex was very accommodating during my entire stay!
Was a tad sad about technical difficulties while attempting to use WiFi (& I did let Alex know this too & he attempted to correct issue, to no avail) & inability to access thermostat (building's historic with no built-in temperature unit),
I'd DEFINITELY still recommend it, as it's very comparable for the price!"

"I was very pleased with this hotel, the staff, cleanliness and location. The hotel was a few minutes walk from Paddington Station and other underground lines. The hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean when I arrived. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was perfect and the water seemed to heat up quickly and stay hot. The room and bathroom were small but it had everything I needed for a 2-night stay and served its purpose for a solo traveler....

"A few small steps away from being a decent place to stay. Keyless entry worked well. It's on a fairly busy road (most are in London) so it was a little noisy, but fairly common in London.
Things to fix:
No TV aerial
Tap fitting was really loose. 2 min job to tighten up
No cup or tea making facilities (only a kettle)
Wall a little dirty/mouldy higher up"

"There definitely needs to be some updates. The towel rack and toilet paper rack were practically dangling. It was also odd that other traveler’s luggage was being stored in our room."
