"Pros-Check in and check out was super easy and clear. Parking was free and great, we were able to park right by our unit. It is central so close to lots of stuff. Shower was hot and stayed hot for awhile! Host was quick and clear on communication. There is a microwave, small ice box, stove top burner, couple pots and pans. The AC worked well and the TV is big! Bed is comfy but squeaky. Cons The walls are thin so we could everything upstairs and around. The only mirror in there was a small one...

"I booked this room based on deceiving pictures and reviews. Unfortunately non refundable. I checked in, got to my rickety, musty room that reminded me of a place that would give you bedbugs, and didn’t even sit down. I quickly booked the Marriott nearby and left. Had to eat the cost of $400, but my god this place was rough. I never, ever write bad reviews, but the reviews here are what led me to my booking so I’m compelled to at least warn others. "

"You feel like you're visiting a friend's summer house, relaxed and cozy. No frills, very chill. I was a little concerned of street noise being in the center of town but super quiet and all the other guests were well mannered. Loved the accessible "caffeine depot" as I had some jetlag."

"Tough timing to arrive right after the bad storm. This area was hit hard and we can imagine the work it took to get all back together. Staff shortage affected housekeeping but the front desk was helpful and cheerful in providing fresh towels and other needed items. No internet service but we were compensated fairly. Good A/C in our room and comfortable bed. We appreciated the complimentary use of beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. Easy to drive out of the rain on Maui!! Would enjoy...

"Felt more like a Marriott than a Ritz. Hotel is okay, pool heater was out for the week, room was somewhat worn, AC was noisy. Not the same level of Ritz or Four Season's for the cost that I expect. Not a bad experience but not worth the cost compared to other 5 stars. I would not stay there again."

"Most peaceful beach, gorgeous views, within walking distance to some of the most iconic restaurants, and a great grocery store with delicious poke! Feels like home, everyone (guests, staff, etc.) are all so friendly. We saw a monk seal, sea turtles, and whales! This is the best place to be in all of Maui. We met a couple who told us they’d been vacationing to the Mauian since they honeymooned 50 years ago!!! There’s a reason they keep coming back, and we will too! ❤️❤️❤️"

"The windows in the suit do not have screens, and I talked to the hotel. They spent about 90 minutes in and out of the room and told me they cannot find the right size of screen for the windows. Also the carpet is very old and dirty and has a moldy and rotten smell, hurt my throat, and difficult to breath. Also all the window sills are very dirty. It is not in a livable condition. I talked to the front counter manager, and he finally go me a room on the last night. This room is a little better,...
