"I received a warm reception upon arrival. The receptionist was very nice. She checked me in and explained all the available amenities within 5 minutes. My check-out was the total opposite. The man at the check-out was rude and barely acknowledged me. It took him 15 minutes to check-out!"

"I stayed one night in prep for a morning flight out of Schipol. I was surprised by how nice this hotel is, it feels modern and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I had no negative impressions or experiences to speak of with my 1 night stay. Some things to know: 1) Room was very clean and up to date. It felt modern and well maintained. 2) The gym has a combo of free weights, machines, treadmill and a Concept 2 rowing machine. (Note to hotel: Check the maintenance on the rowing machine as I felt the gear skipping when I pulled hard on the handles) 3) The free airport shuttle was efficient. It took about 10-15 mins to get to/from the airport. The dedicated bus is easily spotted with the name of the hotel on the bus itself. At the airport, you can catch it at the hotel shuttle pick-up area, identified as bus stop A9 as of this writing. Btw, from Amsterdam, I couldn't find any metro transport that would get me to the hotel conveniently. What I ended up doing was I took the train from Amsterdam Central train station to Schipol airport and I took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. It was a pretty easy process."

"The Art Hotel is located next to the Maashaven metro station, which makes it so easy to travel around. It’s a modern hotel with spacious rooms and some with views over the harbour. Very clean and friendly staff. My only negative comment would be that the hot food in the breakfast buffet is cold. "
