"Hotel is an old one and is RIGHT next to a highway on ramp. All night long we could hear vehicles revving up as they went up the ramp. Aren’t there noise reducing windows that can be installed? AC did not keep the room cool all night even though we set it at 64. Mildew on the wall next to the shower, bathroom had no vent and very poor lighting. Obviously there had been a repair where the above toilet shelf was because it still had the putty visible and had not been painted. We started referring to it as Worst Western "

"I made this reservation approximately two months ago through Hotels.com. We arrived yesterday around 12:30 PM to check in, however, the office was locked and there was no staff on site. Since there was no one available to assist us, we left to have lunch and spend some time in town. During that time, I made multiple attempts to call, but received no answer. We returned to the property around 4:30 PM, and the office was still closed. We remained outside for approximately 45 minutes continuing to call the number listed on the website, again with no response. Fortunately, another guest arrived, and we asked how they were able to check in. They provided us with an alternate phone number. Had we not encountered them, we would not have had any way to access our guest house. Additionally, we selected this property specifically for the full bed and breakfast experience, including touring the plantation home and having breakfast the following morning. However, both the plantation home and breakfast area were locked. We were informed that if we happened to be present when the cleaning crew arrived, they might be able to unlock the home, which is not what we expected from our stay. There was breakfast. It was locked and had tables and chairs stacked inside. I brought my mother here to celebrate her 78th birthday, and unfortunately, this experience was disappointing and embarrassing, as I was the one who planned and booked this trip."

"I saved a video of bugs on our bathroom floor, alive... crawling. The staff was great! But, we killed several beetle type bugs. I don't know what they are. "

"The room was not cleaned very well. We found old food on the floor and a roach in the room. On multiple occasions, people were trying to get assistance from the front desk and no one was there for SEVERAL minutes. Housekeeping took our towels & wash clothes but did not replace them. When we asked for more later that evening, they were out! They gave us old towels they said were used for cleaning. And the tub looked awful! There were so many patches of silicone holding it together. We will NEVER stay there again! IHG corporate needs to inspect this place. "
