The room was clean. It was quiet. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we stayed out very late so we didn’t get up early enough for breakfast, but we plan on going back sometime and will definitely try the breakfast.

The room was clean looking, but it smelled like sour clothes. And the air conditioning unit didn’t blow super cold, which was unfortunate considering we are in the heat of summer in Louisiana. Staff was nice though, and the breakfast was decent.

The only noteworthy "good" thing about this location is that the other motels in Oakdale, LA are WORSE. What I didn't like is that the DirecTV satellite box is fastened to the wall behind the dresser that the TV set sits on (and quite high). Very awkward to handle remote, change channels, plus the selection of channels is mostly for infomercials and children's channels.

The room was clean and smelled fresh. We enjoyed our stay. We visit family in town about 2-3 times a year and our stay was great. The front desk staff member, Debra, was fantastic and so very friendly. She checked us in quickly and when I demagnetized my room key the following day, she quickly rekeyed the electronic key cards for us. I will definitely return and continue staying at this location.

The property was clean and convenient. The staff is extremely friendly. We even left some items behind on accident and they called us. We had family in the area and they were able to retrieve the items for us. We appreciate the call from the staff and will stay at this hotel every time we’re in town.

Facilities were good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately electricity went out for one hour plus close to midnight. This power failure makes the room very hot specially after a really hot day. Power was restored and we went back to sleep. Breakfast was good.

The rooms were very clean. Our phone didnt work when i reported it she said none of them work. Didnt like having to walk outside everytime I wanted to smoke a cigarette. Young guy working nights was very helpful when we needed directions home printed out.

It’s ok for a night or two. Room was clean. But, the blankets on the bed smelled gross. The entire room had a smell. The bed sits super close to the floor and is not comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, but you only get two small towels. Luckily, we bring our own blanket, towels and pillows on trips. The staff was very friendly. But for all things holy deep clean the rugs and wash ALL the bedding leave extra pillows and towels!

This location is a typical Best Western but a little classier than I expected it to be given its small town location. Second floor rooms via elevator which I much preferred than having to use stairs to a second floor (and I've stayed in motels without elevators. Room, bed, furnishings very comfortable, cozy, private. 50" flat panel TV with DirecTV and all my favorite channels. This was a surprise to find DirecTV instead of just free streaming apps. What I didn't like is that it was time-consuming to figure out HOW to use the heat/cooling under-window appliance. No instructions to reveal that this unit operates in conjunction with a wall-mounted controller. Also, it was necessary for me to reset the cable box ON the TV set in order to retrieve the DirecTV on-screen guide. Overall a very comfortable and clean room.
