"This property was renovated last February and was very clean uncomfortable. The rooms were small but had everything we needed! Francesca at the front desk was amazing. She made me feel important tended to my needs and was efficient kind and really made me feel that I was a cherished guest at this gem of a hotel. "Great resort to relax. Food is above average compared to other resorts. Not a lot to do besides eat, drink and hang by the pool. Not a lot of socializing. Skip out on Momo, the Japanese restaurant, the rest were great. "

"We felt at home when we were staying at the Hotel Segovia. There was one or two other individuals standing on the property. It was quiet and very comfortable. A person was always stationed at the front and that was very comforting that it was safe. Breakfast was made to order each day. The menu was an American type breakfast - eggs (made your way), bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, OJ, Coffee. I would highly recommend because it’s close to the Centro and fairly priced in March. "

"Excellent stay. Very comfortable room and shared spaces. We rented a scooter a few days directly from the property which was very convenient. Location is a little away from downtown which we found to be more quiet. Felt safe walking around even at night. There are several great food options within a few blocks. Would definitely stay again when in the area. "

"We love to stay at the El CID and we’ve stayed here many times. The place is kept very clean and the people are amazing! Things I really like: the snorkeling from shore, the cleanliness, the people, the walkability of the area, and the views from the rooms. Things I don’t particularly like: the humidity is so bad everything in our room felt wet all the time including the bed and the food is not the best. "The Villa Blanca Gardens is my three-star go to in Cozumel, and I have been there many times. It is away from the hustle and bustle and overcrowding of downtown when cruise ships come in and is generally unaffected by boat tourism. Many folks stay here for the dive, snorkeling and other activities that are available just across the street in front of the facility.
