"Last minute date night booking and it did not disappoint. It is so nice that once you’re there you have everything you need, and if not the front desk will make it so. Dinner was amazing and the views are stunning. It felt like a world away even though it’s a quick drive from home. I’m already looking forward to the next visit where we will stay 2 nights instead of 1 and take advantage of the spa. Highly recommend!"

"The heater in our room did not work so it was always too cool. The bed was situated right beside the heater so the air was not able to circulate properly and it would shut down after a few minutes. The breakfast was adequate but the eggs, potatoes and meat were often cold or barely warm. "

"This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. "I ahve stayed at red lion many many times. This was the worst time. The TV was messed up when we were trying to relax in the suite after wandering the city. The front desk attendant helped fix that. The sink was dirty when we got into the room. Toothpaste was still in the sink. The bed and suite were well kept otherwise. The main aggrevation of the trip was at 7:30-8am, the housekeepers were talking and yelling in Korean and laughing in the hallway for hours. We found out when we were leaving...

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"
