"I stayed at The Hive Hotel for four nights in May 2026. Overall, the hotel itself is fine. The location is convenient, just a short walk from Termini Station, the rooms are modern and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop terrace is a nice bonus with decent views, and the hotel feels relatively new and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the front desk/reception staff completely ruined the experience. Their attitude was consistently rude and dismissive from the moment I arrived. Check-in was cold and unwelcoming, and whenever I had a question or needed assistance, I was met with eye-rolling and very poor customer service. On one occasion, I was spoken to in a condescending tone that felt completely unnecessary. It genuinely felt like we were bothering them by being guests. The hotel itself is okay and I wouldn’t mind recommending it for the facilities, but the terrible treatment at reception makes me say this clearly: I will never stay here again."

"My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at IQ hotel Roma. The property was at a convenient central location. It was roughly a 10 minute walk from the train station. Most other tourist sites were 15-30 minute walk. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and we were very grateful that the AC worked. This was an issue at other properties during our trip. There’s a restaurant on the roof as well as a pasta making class a few times a week. We would happily stay here again. "

"We stayed at Hotel 77 for two nights following a cruise, so we wanted something pretty central to trip round and do some Rome sights. Hotel is well located, staff friendly and helpful. We had a Junior room in the main hotel building. Room was clean and nice bathroom. Bed was ok, firm. Towels were changed for day 2. Altogether a decent hotel for the money. Would look at a different hotel next time, only because there are so many to choose from in Rome. Recommend a visit to Restaurant Strega which is a two minute walk from the hotel."

"Great stay with an extensive buffet breakfast and made to order options. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a stocked mini fridge in the room with drinks (included). We took cabs to several restaurants I had booked through The Fork and tours I had booked through Trip Advisor (although you could walk). This is the sister hotel of Hotel Spadai in Rome with the same amenities. It was a flat rate of 50 euros for a taxi to the airport."

"Perfect location, friendly staff, room clean and comfortable beds. All that you need in an European vacation. The breakfast was good, I wish I could had it everyday I was there. I had to do couple of excursions early morning."
