"This hotels location is 5 stars.Stunning ocean views.You can walk to restaurants and more.Because it was very crowded due to a few events the Ice machines were out of ice .But staff was very helpful.I definitely would stay again."

"First time staying here. The location is what made our experience so nice...hotel right on the water. Cool ocean breezes, waves lapping the shore. The property is a bit dated, but not important. The Shoals Restaurant is on the property, great food. Would definitely stay again!"

"Reception staff were helpful and professional. The hotel room was very worn and old. The carpets were old and dirty. the bathroom was clean. Overall this hotel is in need of refurb and and some paint and cleaning. The balcony was dirty and chairs stained plus windows were very dirty, covered in hand prints. On the positive -staff were very nice and the complementary breakfast was better than expected."

"The Clocktower Inn is a lovely place to stay in downtown Ventura. It's an older establishment, so it's not fancy or elegant by any means, but it's a super charming, comfortable, and clean Spanish style hotel. The location next to Mission Basilica San Buenaventura and the Museum of Ventura County is ideal for walking throughout downtown Ventura and all of its shops and cafes. It's also easily walkable to the beach area--the Ventura Promenade, Surfer's Point, the Ventura Pier.. To not have to...
