"Really pleased with our stay. The room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool and sundeck were lovely. The service from the staff at check-in, the pool bar and the pub was excellent. Would also highly recommend the boat service that the hotel runs to Butchart which is well worth the extra to do."

"First of all this resort is on the water, but I reserved a studio room probably 4 weeks in advance for $347 and i probably got the worst room on the resort . I was on the 1st floor, my balcony was 3 feet from the sidewalk then bushes with a parking lot behind the bushes. Immediately the right of the balcony was multiple trash dumpers. so i get to look at a parking lot while smelling the dumpsters. Yes, i asked for a different room and of course the only room available was a water front 1 bedroom suite for an additional $280 so now we are talking $627+taxes. Having just come from the Fairmont Empress in Victoria (world famous 5 star hotel) which ran me $579/night, I was scratching my head as to why this an more expensive. Just saying...."
