"Rooms were relatively clean, but our bath shower had moisture and mold at the bottom corners Game / TV / Breakfast Common room was good, but did close nightly at 10:00 pm because rooms are above. No pool or hot tub. Hot tub would be a huge bonus. Hecklers comedy / night club is right across the road. Breakfast was basic and did the job. Endless special coffees were a definite bonus and much appreciated. Would stay there again :)"

"When I arrived for check in, they advised me that my room had been cancelled, however, I insisted that I did not cancel my reservation, they further checked my reservation, and the issue was fixed. I had no free breakfast, it was not included with my room. My washroom sink was plug in, however, they fixed the problem right away. The room is very clean. "

The rooms are very modern, the hotel has a very retro beachy vibe, and the restaurant is among the best in Parksville. Try the Fisherman's Chowder. Unreal. "

"Our room was perfect. Clean, quiet and nice view. Too bad we couldn’t sit and relax on deck chairs on balcony due to raining though. We’d love to stay exactly same room in the future. I think there was a some group function on the same weekend. Restaurant was fully booked and I saw lady who helped check-in at front desk, she was working in restaurant as well. Everyone was professional and friendly, I see them all hard working! Thank you so much for wonderful stay. We will be back. "

"Did not eat breakfast, I slept in to late. Typical hotel noises woke me up but I do believe I've become a light sleeper. Definitely would stay again. Would specify top floor back of building facing away from highway."

"The room was terrific & better than I expected. Was given a nice quiet room on the 4th floor on the side of the building so it shielded all the traffic noise on Douglas. Area around the hotel felt unsafe at night due to the disastrous homeless situation in downtown Victoria. Front desk staff were very welcoming & helpful. "
