"We are a family of 4 who had the pleasure in staying at the Fornace Suites. The staff is very friendly. Although their lobby isn't 24 hour we were given numbers on how to reach staff if there were any issues or needed anything. We had one issue the first night but the host assisted us as soon as possible and all was fine. The room was absolutely exquisite and comfortable for a family of 4. Clean and amenities were great. Lighting could be a little better in the bathroom but the weather was hot...

The former monastery from 16th century has been meticulously renovated into spectacular suites and a glass covered courtyard dining area. the art work inspires. "I have been to a lot of hotels but I have never seen customer service as the one provided by Julia! She is the hotel’s greatest asset. Attentive to our needs, proactive, and genuine. The room is modern and I had a good night’s sleep. There is a family owned restaurant/pizzeria nearby, Le Staglione. You should not miss it if you are in for authentic Italian food. I will definitely recommend and I will be back if I am in the Florence area again."
