"The staff at the front desk upon check in were lovely. During our stay, Betty was amazing. She was always sooo friendly and kind. She was eager to help in any way (my Garmin watch needed charging a couple of times durong our stay and she was eager to help out). Rooms were cleaned daily if required. Food was very good, pricey though. Breakfast was included but it was just ok. Mixed Drinks were crazy expensive - not many drank by us. Beer was ok priced. Lots of sargassum at the beach, and they only cleaned it up when there was an event planned from outside the hotel. Beach and amenities were lovely though. Just prepare - you can not flush TP anywhere in tulum. It must be deposited in the garbage cans. "

"Great little hotel right near the two main Tulum roads with parking availability in front and on the street. During our 9 day stay we felt safe and well treated. Our room and facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The courtyard nature, pool and bar were lovely. Great place to enjoy a cigar and relax. Thank you Prana, we hope to see you again soon!!"

Our Butler Julio took especially great care of our needs, from making dinner reservations, to suggesting different activities, to making sure we were always comfortable. "The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very kind and accommodating. They helped our family with everything we needed, especially with our 2 young children. The credit was nice and they even accommodated non alcoholic drinks for my wife who was pregnant. The upper deck and pool is very beautiful but the water is cold and you can’t take drinks or food up there, which is confusing. Still, we loved our stay at Hotelito Azul."
