"I decided to treat myself on the last night. Picked the hotel for location as was travelling back from Bergen and leaving the next day. On arrival the hotel is bright and modern with colourful art in the reception/bar area.Check in was quick and staff friendly. Felt the staff were stretched at time as they were covering reception and bar duties on own. The room was a disappointment. Was massive but so depressing- black ceiling,flooring and walls with Rolling Stones logo. Black furniture added to the darkness. Still not sure there was a need for 2 additional sinks in the room given the size of the showerroom. Stayed at 3 hotels during my visit to Norway and this has the smallest selection for breakfast. Location was excellent and looking at the pics other rooms seem to be bright and modern -i just was unlucky with the one I got. The corridor taking me to my room was also used to store cages and bed/mattresses. Not a great first impression when walking to your room."

"Just about a 3-minute walk from Oslo Central Station, which makes it very easy even with luggage. Public transport such as buses and trams are also nearby, making it convenient to get around. The MUNCH Museum and the Opera House are both about an 8-minute walk away. There are also many restaurants and bakeries in the area, which is very convenient. The room itself was clean and comfortable, however there were a few inconveniences. There was no housekeeping service for three days, and towels were not replaced. If you wanted fresh towels, an additional fee was required, which was not very convenient. There is no traditional front desk; instead, the lobby is set up as a bar area, and staff handle reception duties when available, though they sometimes step away for breaks, which can be a bit inconvenient. There are also some light snacks available in the lobby. By registering, you can get free coffee. Check-in and check-out are fully self-service. Overall, it is a very simplified hotel with a great location, but it would have been better to have at least extra towels available."
