"The room was clean and it’s a normal space for a hotel room. The hotel was nice, I like the set up, with work spaces, lounges inside and outside of the hotel. Very cool. The only thing is, if you want to go to Vatican City, which the majority of the things we wanted to do, including the Coliseum, we had to catch a taxi every day, twice a day. Taxi fare is expensive. And it takes about 25-30 mnts. Not whole of of things to do near the hotel."

"Your far from the center but there's a station really near. You have a big groceries store on the other side of the street, so it’s really helpful. The staff was really helpful we had a bad day and needed to take a shower and they let us even if we were there before the check in!"

The bed was comfortable and the fact there were extra pillows available was great. My wife and I walk a lot (clocked over 480km in Japan over 3 weeks) - we stayed in Rome for 3 days and walked about 20-30km/day. "Staff were very friendly. Signage consisted of a small sign on the building that was not visible from the street - hard to find. The property is old and very basic. No hot water one day. Sheets were not changed. We received fresh towels on the third day of our stay. The Expedia description said there was free parking, but there was no parking available and we had to park on the street. The hotel was not equipped to accept credit cards so we had to pay the city tax at a neighboring restaurant...

"Great location - close to the Metro and markets where the locals shop. The staff was extremely helpful - Chiara, Maria, Bruno, Danilo and others whose names I didn't get. Bruno suggested a great Italian restaurant, Osteria del Cavalierie which quickly became our favorite! I highly recommend this place."
