"Gorgeous scenery, hotel looks to have been a Residence Inn previously so the rooms are spacious (and have those weird showers with only half a glass wall, but that's okay). One of the better free breakfast spreads you'll find anywhere outside a resort. Also extremely close to the CIA (foodies know), lots of historic sites and buildings, and the Hudson River. "

"We were lucky enough to get a last minute stay at Thayer for our trip. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They were great with recommendations for local places to play golf and dine. The room and hotel were clean. There are reviews that say there’s noise from planes and trains but we didn’t hear a thing. "

"Typical stop over hotel off the highway and very well priced for the area. Clean and comfortable except the highway side was loud. Breakfast was convenient but could add some more items… coffee machine was fantastic!! Cappuccino… lattes…. Espresso… and more!"
