"Checked in for 1.30pm, was told it is £10 per hour before 3pm check in - there was no discretion on the 30 mins as the receptionist pursued the £5 for 30 mins so I paid the £15. Checked in to a room with scaffolders outside my window swearing and talking about women with loud music. I headed to reception (bare in mind it is now 1.45 as my room was so far away and there is NO telephone in the rooms). Moved to another room, TV was not working and the there was NO wifi signal. "The bathrooms were a little tired and could do with a freshen up but I’m being picky. We had a great stay as usual and will definitely be back."

"I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm."

"Everything was fine but when it came to breakfast we had to wait over an hour and when it arrived was not very nice, undercooked sausages, gluten free bread given to someone who didn't have a gluten allergy, no cups available for drinks and a giant milk jug which milk poured out of like a fountain. Obviously very understaffed in the restaurant."

"Unfortunately the bathroom shower was really bad. Impossible to turn it on and adjust temp without getting soaked outside the tub . Water sprayed the floor and whole shower experience was average . Bed comfy but pillows lumpy ."
