"Decent"

"I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm."

"I go every year to Solihull and I have tried Voco several times. Every time there is something wrong or it is the smell of curry in the corridors or it is the check in or out. This time, the checkout time was at 11 and we came back from breakfast 10:50, to collect our bags and check out but our key didn’t opened the door. "Everything was fine but when it came to breakfast we had to wait over an hour and when it arrived was not very nice, undercooked sausages, gluten free bread given to someone who didn't have a gluten allergy, no cups available for drinks and a giant milk jug which milk poured out of like a fountain. Obviously very understaffed in the restaurant."

"Lovely host, very helpful & pleasant, parking directly outside our room which was a good size & very clean. Lovely surroundings with horses in the stables to say hello to. Great directions for walking to our concert at bp pulse about 15 mins away. The breakfast was very nice & served very quickly. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend."

"Unfortunately the bathroom shower was really bad. Impossible to turn it on and adjust temp without getting soaked outside the tub . Water sprayed the floor and whole shower experience was average . Bed comfy but pillows lumpy ."
