"We arrived very late due to plane delays. We arrived to a very friendly staff member who welcomed us and the check in was a great experience. I did not realised until the next morning that the slats under the bed were broken. I spoke to a staff member and she was able to move us to another room swiftly and there were no issues thereafter. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and very clean. We will look to book the hotel again when we re visit Edinburugh."

"The hotel is in a good location, close enough to everything but slightly away from the hustle and bustle. which meant it was peaceful and we slept well. The room was well appointed with everything you could need. Plenty of space for two people. We didn’t really need the kitchenette as we were eating out but the coffee machine was nice. "

"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and the service has usually been good. However, on this occasion we experienced issues with the room that were never resolved, which is not acceptable. As a result, we will need to reconsider staying there again. "

"Room was clean and well presented, however there was mould noted around the window area which was disappointing for a recently redecorated room. Hotel was clean and tidy on entering and staff were welcoming. Would come back for another visit as it is positioned in a great location for Edinburgh. "

"Great stay! There were a few little niggles here and there (light out in living room, stompy person upstairs (fortunately only heard them in the evenings), crumbs and dust here and there), but overall it was a great stay. Other than "stompy" upstairs, it was a quiet place, had good water pressure in the shower, a decently stocked kitchen (in terms of cooking gear, not food/seasonings), was easy to get to, close to multiple express grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries. We actually found it to be pretty central and convenient to everything and walked almost everywhere (but we're avid walkers so take that with a grain of salt). Would definitely stay here again!"
