"The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems"

"The Moxy hotels are a bit different as the lobby is the bar and is where you check in. Staff at check in (Melissa?) was friendly and helpful and the lobby offered complimentary water as well as seating areas and games.
Our room was small, but clean, but had limited storage; no dressers or closets -- just a small hanging bar. The bathroom was tiny but clean.
Breakfast was quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at while in Scotland, but they did offer complimentary coffee until...

"Staff appear over run by the amount of visitors to this hotel - management need to consider this!
Breakfast is chaos, perhaps consider allocating time slots on check in? Breakfast was appeared hot but of average quality. We gave up because it was so hectic.
Can't fault the staff on the ground floor, they're doing a great job under very difficult conditions from what I witnessed. They need better support!"

"Friendly staff and a lovely apartment in a great location (especially for the grassmarket). However there were a couple of issues with maintenance, broken blind in living area so couldn't open or close blind (ground floor), no light bulb in only lamp in lounge, no washing up liquid and broken bin in bathroom. Its a shame as overall the apartments were clean and decorated beautifully so hope they don't let poor maintenance ruin the standard. Biggest issue however was there was no hot for my son...
