Location is great! Staff were helpful and friendly.
The size of our room was small but still ok
Overall size of rooms in every hotel you will stay in Japan are going to be small.
The hotel is well located. The room was beautiful and you have acesa to all type of free food and drink 24 hours and other goodies like face masks, creams etc….

The staff was very helpful, friendly and respectful. The room was clean and had a plethora of toiletries for use.
This property was one of the best we have stayed anywhere. Very quaint quiet all the amenities you could ask for even a free bar. This hotel exceeded our expectations
Very kind stay and in a really great location for our purpose of touring the city! The only thing I didn’t realize was how small the room would be - granted, I booked a business double, and I should have expected it to be smaller, but it felt quite tight, and with all the amenities they provide, there was little space for my own items. Aside from that, the hotel staff and amenities were amazing!! We slept well, the bathroom was clean, it was a great experience. I was not expecting there to be no shower door, so that was a little difficult as we needed extra towels to dry after, but it is okay!
Wonderful in every way. Location, staff, amenities and overall comfort are top notch. All kinds of free stuff to make your stay a great value. I will stay here again.
This was honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Great for a romantic get away with your significant other. Free drinks bar and massage chairs were amazing and the rooms were clean and cozy. Will be staying longer next time!
I love the free amenities, and how it’s walking distance. Breakfast was great, it came with an onigiri maker and you make it yourself. Unlimited free amenities, and free booze.
I stayed at Hotel Petit Bali Higashishinjuku from May 24–28, and it was truly a hidden gem in Tokyo. If you’re looking for a relaxing, private, and comfortable stay, this is definitely a place to consider.
What stood out most was how thoughtfully the experience is designed for adults who value comfort over flashy, unnecessary amenities. Instead of over-the-top extras, they offer things that actually enhance your stay: a complimentary 24-hour bar, free soda, coffee, and even mini desserts and snacks. It created a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere that made it simple to unwind at any time.
The room itself was clean, cozy, and very private, perfect after long days or late nights exploring the city. The overall vibe feels more like a quiet retreat than a traditional busy hotel, which I really appreciated in a place like Shinjuku.
If you’re someone who prefers a laid-back, well-curated experience with practical perks rather than large, crowded hotels, this will be a great fit.
I genuinely enjoyed my entire stay and will absolutely return the next time I’m in Tokyo. Highly recommend.
The most distinctive hotel

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Room quite small. Good location in Shinjuku district.
Nice Bali themed hotel though space inside the room is a bit tight and not really able to open a suitcase without moving furniture or doing it in the hallway. Lots of free amenities which is excellent but the food options are quite basic and not always available. There wasn’t a space to sit or eat so we took stuff back to our rooms. Very close to Higashi Shinjuku station so it’s quite convenient. Be aware it’s a love hotel format and in kabukicho but there appeared to be many tourists using the place like a hotel.
The rooms have a physical key which needs to be left at the front desk. Room cleaning costs 2000 yen if you request it except if you stay 3 days or more. But you can request towels and bin changes.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Petit Bali in Shinjuku! In a great, safe area, within walking distance to transportation. The amenities to take to your room for free were unmatched! Rooms little on the smaller side, which seems to be par for the course in Tokyo. Had trouble getting the AC going, but overall we very much enjoyed our time and would stay again!
