Compared to Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, this hotel’s service and quality are not as good. In 2025, I stayed there in Daiba, and Grand Nikko was excellent. This year I wanted to try Hilton Hotels & Resorts, thinking that with such a famous name it would be better—but I was quite disappointed.
Aside from the view, there’s nothing here that I really like. The bed is very old and curved. Overall, I forgot to take photos. The housekeeping staff sometimes changed the bedsheets, sometimes didn’t—I stayed for 7 nights. I also bought breakfast, but the hotel serves breakfast in a hall instead of a proper restaurant. Cooking is done right in that hall, and the smell spreads everywhere, which made me uncomfortable. After 7 mornings, the food was the same every day, making it hard to enjoy.
Also, the hotel was under renovation during my stay, so it felt noisy and messy. If a hotel is under renovation, they should clearly inform guests beforehand so people can decide if they’re okay with it before booking. If I had known in advance, I wouldn’t have stayed here. Also, when I checked out, I forgot two jackets in the closet. Normally, they should email the guest to inform them and keep the items. But after I got back to Toronto, I realized they were missing—and the hotel never said anything. I’m now emailing the hotel to ask about it.
