Convenient location but needs daily cleaning

location is very good with to train station within 2 mins walking . there. are also 711/lawson nearby. the only let down is the cleaning, apparently room are only cleaned every 3 days.

Small but cleans rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only two concerns. The elevator can be slow during peak times, and second, you can't control the temperature. The first night was very warm. Once I informed the front desk they turned off the heat to my room and it was fine.

They cleaned the place every few days (new clean towels almost daily), were able to understand some English, and were overall very kind. Will be using APA again. The bath was always hot and the shower a great level of water pressure. Also rooms have fast/free WiFi. There is also coin laundry on the 1st floor. It is less than a block from the subway (2 different entry gates), and a few blocks away from JR Yamanote Line (about a 15-20 minute walk). The prices for each night were very reasonable too. Near the JR line and Okachimachi station, some amazing food and restaurants. Also never heard my neighbors in the rooms next to mine. Each room also has free VOD with a ton of shows/movies. Excited for my next visit.

Worst hotel experience in Tokyo

Check in was robotic. Not flexible with check-out even if you arrive late. Check our time too early at 10am. Not acknowledgable about surrounding. Did not highlight breakfast last order at 0930 even thou mentioned on breakfast paper. Will not give you even a cup of coffee after 0930 even thou room inclusive of breakfast.

Ludacris elevator situation

All in all, I wouldn't stay here again. The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is young and moderately helpful, but: The entire 14 floor hotel is funneled through 1 elevator. If you have a room on the lower floors and wish to leave during "rush hour", the elevator will inevitably ascend to 14 and then pick up people wishing to descend on its way down. Carriage after carriage will arrive on the the 3rd floor packed with people from the upper floors. (The trick is of course to board the empty elevator on its way up, and thus secure a spot). This review probably sounds ridiculous. Trust me, it feels ridiculous when you stand there waiting. And while it may seem like a thing that happens only every now and then, it is definitely something i experienced multiple times during my one week stay.
