First time revisit to NIhonbashi- Kodenmacho area since 1998. Although the immediate area has grown and changed a lot over the years, my choice of APA Kodenmacho Eki Mae was based on excellent transporation hub area, very walkable Nihonbashi/Ningycho streets, Very friendly, helpful and smiling staff/reception desk staff.

Small but very clean and comfortable room, as expected of an APA hotel. Only drawback was the window being so close to another building that no natural light was able to enter. The fridge had no power and they moved me to another room that worked, no problem.

Great Hotel for a Great Price. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Room had TV, Bed, Electric Kettle, Hairdryer and Wi-Fi/Ethernet connectivity. Bathroom had a Toilet with a Bidet and a Shower/Bathtub combo. Staff was friendly and helpful.Laundromat with Dryer on 2F. Also a Vending Machine on 2F.

Funky hotel chain

This is a clean and ecological hotel with small rooms but all the amenities needed. The staff is attentive, even dealing with issues by email before I arrived. There is a Taiwanese restaurant on the first floor. It is conveniently located. And, there are books in each room about Japanese history.

Pros: It is convenient if you don't mind taking the public transport, and barely within walking distance to Kendo JR station. There are 2 inexpensive supermarket nearby, and lots of restaurant near Kendo station area. Cons: Very small room, and only 1 small lift for the entire building. The breakfast provided by the Taiwanese restaurant aren't worth the extra. Verdict: This is a business hotel at CBD, nothing more nothing less.

The room is small, we booked 2 stays separately. 1 night Skipped then come back for 2 more nights. One room was clean the other wasn't so much but not to the point of filthy. The maids seem to be south Americans. We only away for 1 night and was asking them to store the luggage for us for 1 night but they said they can't which is extremely disappointed and wasted of my booking. I could've try a different hotel in a bit better location. However I cannot deny that this location is quite convenient, you can choose few subway lines or JR

Perfect place to make a childhood dream come true!

Very friendly staff, even if you have limited japanese knowledge. This hotel is also in a prime location in the center of tokyo with 3 train stations within about a 3 minute walk of the hotel. Bags with fresh towels are dropped off almost daily, and you can leave your towels out to be taken away. The room is automatically cleaned every 3rd day while you are out on the town if you're staying that long or longer. A perfect hotel for solo travelers with multiple 7/11's and family marts just a couple streets down. My childhood dream was to come to Japan, i'm a huge anime and manga fan, and this hotel was the perfect place to stay, plus it's not very expensive. In fact if you book decently in advance it's quite cheap! If you need to extend your stay it is 2,000 yen per hour up to 2 hours for late checkout, which for someone who was struggling to emotionally cope with leaving Japan (I cried at home before writing this) that was very helpful. They even have an onsite restaurant for breakfast which provides filling meals for an affordable price! Thank you to the staff for being so kind and patient to me as a foreigner, I promise i'll learn more japanese for next time haha. Would recommend staying here 10 times out of 10, foreigners and locals stay here and it's easy to see why. Thank you again for everything, I loved every second of being in this hotel when I was in, and hopefully see ya again in the future! <3

A great hotel in a great spot! 30mins away from Sensoji Temple, Tokyo Sky Tree, Shibuya Scramble. Get the 72hr Tokyo Subway Pass with your Keisei Skyliner ticket online to explore many of these places without having to use your IC or buy a ticket until the 4th day. The Hibiya line stops nearby and makes it so easy to return to the airport through Ueno Station and back onto the Keisei Skyliner. Hibiya is also covered under the Tokyo Subway pass and is one stop away from Akihabara! So this hotel is extremely close to Japan's electric Town! 30mins by walking and even less by train! Staff were super friendly! Check in was a breeze and check out was super simple. Daily room keeping. The staff at the desk also helped me send my luggage back to the airport using Yamato Transport. Hands free is how to do it in Japan! Room was clean. Possibly best for couples without a lot of luggage or lone travelers like myself! The room is fairly small in Japanese fashion but I didn't mind, it was cozy. Will definitely use APA again.
