"This charming castle is truly a gem among Umbrian fields. Set on a hill, it's a very well-maintained and clean hotel, with a pool overlooking the nearby valley. The staff was amazing, and especially Daniela at the reception desk who made us feel like at home. "Very good hotel , extremely clean, rooms very comfortable including spacious bathroom with excellent shower. Personal choice - bed a bit firm but still slept ok, perhaps a mattress topper could be offered. Aircon was really good. Breakfast was the usual thing but orange juice was good and loved the fresh fruit and pastries. Husband loved the eggs. Perfect location to use the escalators to the old town which is beautiful. But it was peaceful at night with great windows that keep out the road noise. I must say we have never found such a peaceful hotel, staying 8 nights in the Jazz festival so a busy time but felt like we were the only guests, very quiet rooms. Only had one evening meal in the hotel as so many close restaurants but must say the hotel restaurant was extremely good and reasonably priced menu. Staff were all friendly and room cleaning was great they tried to go in when you went to breakfast. Thanks to all."

"Hotel Duomo in Orvieto was an excellent choice and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore this beautiful historic town. We especially loved the breakfast buffet, which offered a wonderful variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. The rooms were a little dated, but they were comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding customer service. One staff member went above and beyond to make our stay special. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and she made us cappuccinos and Aperol Spritz, adding such a personal touch to our experience. Her kindness and attentiveness made us feel truly valued as guests. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Duomo to anyone visiting Orvieto. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish."

"This was a lovely hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The woman at the desk showed us a map and pointed out how to get to all of the sites we wanted to see, including where to get the bus back to the train station. The breakfast the next morning was also lovely, with freshly made tea/coffee and a large assortment of options including eggs and bacon. Easy walk to St. Francis basilica. They also let us leave our bags there after checkout so that we didn't have to lug them around with us for the rest of our visit."
