Lots of larger tour groups with large buses stay at this facility while in town to visit Assisi, so the hotel caters to them in the buffet area downstairs all the other guests of the hotel must sit at unassigned tables in the breakfast buffet area. The buffet has lots of choices and plentiful. The room was good, clean and functioning appropriately. The grounds were nice and green with a nice setting on a hillside overlooking the valley. It was a little hard to communicate with the front desk staff because they didn't know a lot of English, but we survived. Parking garage located on the lower level was not full and convenient. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area for a couple of days.

Good relaxing hotel with a nice and beautiful pool and beautiful, peaceful garden. They have nice massage services which you have to pay for but it is affordable I recommend it

Hotel needs a refresh. Indoor pool on a property this beautiful is a shame as who wants to be inside when the sun is shining? Also, charging 3,50€ for towels and a shower cap is what your expect from a lower class resort. Parking was good.

We were warmly welcomed on check in and, at every step of the way, we were made to feel special! The bar tender, Shawn, made some delicious cocktails. The Giotto restaurant on site serves excellent food and has a very good selection of wines. We used the very well appointed spa for added luxury! The room had a large balcony with an amazing view of the Umbrian landscape, and, at night, the Basilica was lit up like a beacon. The only downside was the air conditioning in the rooms is not allowed be turned on until June- but, keeping the doors open at night cooled the room down and was very comfortable. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Can do with better lighting.

Hotel needs some TLC. Everywhere was very dark. They still use the fluorescent type of lightbulbs instead of led. Room had a small window and lights were very dark. Corridor was dark too so had difficulty getting key into lock. Swimming pool was nice and warm but changing rooms had no lights at all. There was a little bit coming through a gap above the door. You need to bring your own towel or hire one from the spa one floor down. (€5) also you have to wear a swimming cap and bath slippers. We saw some others using shower caps which were provided in our room. Slippers too were provided in our room. Our safe did not work. They did try to open it but it was still closed when we left 3 days later. Restaurant needs to be booked and isn’t open until 19:30. The food was very good. They did not have any fruit juice. We asked but waiter said they didn’t do juice. Just wine, water coke and Fanta. Yet for breakfast they did provide juice. So they did have juice. Restaurant acoustics are bad. It gets very noisy. There is a free shuttle bus to Assisi city wall 4 times a day. And a bus stops outside the hotel roughly every 40min taking you to the centre of Assisi. The hotel sells tickets. (€1:30 per journey)
