"This is a really nice place. The directions on Expedia stated check-in was required before 6 p.m. the staff was very flexible for our 8:30 p.m. check-in. The place was a little hard to find and required a 4x4 to get up a big hill. The property staff escorted us, which was extremely helpful. I would recommend this place if you want an adventure."

"Amazing stay at parador! Only problem was the road getting there was steep and broken. We drove so it made it so we didn’t feel motivated to leave the property. We usually love to venture out and explore but we stayed at the property unless we were doing an excursion. Food was overpriced at the restaurant. Staff was outstanding and go above and beyond every time. Room was lovely and comfy and grounds were amazing and teeming with wildlife. Very special place and road should be fixed soon. Will...

"This is a hidden gem amongst the crowd of choices in Manuel Antonio. You will see more wildlife here than walking though the park. (Still go to the park!) The entire staff is are incredible example of Costa Rican hospitality. Treat this as your home. You will read in other reviews about a loud street. If you have ever done any traveling abroad, the noise is nothing that will keep you up. "
