"This hotel was perfect! The property is beautiful, the 2 restaurants were very good. Breakfast was included and you have so many full choicees. The food was so good at the other restaurant that we ate there 3 times! We stayed in the bungalow and it was super nice. The bed and pillowes and bedding were clean and cozy and comfy. We slept as we do at home. Outside of the momekeys everywhere, the staff were the best part. They were so hlepful when it came to booking excursions and directions to stores an even secret beaches. We would definitely stay here again and again. Along with the espresso cup machine there is also a tea kettle, full ,fridge, microwave and a 2 burner stove. In the roomIn the room."

"Tico Tico was the ideal place for our two-week stay while we attended Spanish School in Quepos. We stayed in villa #12 which was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had a great open, modern aesthetic. And A/C!!! Having the kitchen was fantastic. We used the stove every day to cook eggs for breakfasts, and when we didn't want to eat out for lunch and dinner, we made sandwiches and salads. They even provided a hot water kettle so we could make coffee and tea. The location was perfect--5 minutes on the bus to Quepos in one direction and 10 minutes to Manuel Antonio in the other. And the bus stops directly in front which was super convenient. The pool was gorgeous and provided a wonderful place to cool off after being out in the heat. And the hammocks on the covered pavilion were a great place to read and study. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. The owner even drove us into town one day when we *just* missed the bus and needed to get to class quickly. The ONLY complaint we had was that the road noise could sometimes get loud. The property is located close to the road and the noise from the motor bikes (especially) was annoying when sitting outside in the pavilion or the pool. When indoors, it was not a problem. I normally don't book through a 3rd party, but we got a very good rate through Expedia. It was about $30/day less than booking through Tico Tico directly, which for a two-week stay really added up."

"This place is fantastic. The location is great: right on the road to Manuel Antonio, close to Quepos, in a pretty secluded forest area. The staff (mainly one guy) is super helpful and friendly, and each room is essentially a cabin surrounded by trees. The pool is big and deep and open pretty much whenever you want to swim, and the breakfast is big and filling with juice and coffee. Right around our cabin we saw iguanas and hummingbirds and rainbow parrots flying overhead each morning. As long as you have a car, everything interesting is like a 10 minute drive away at the most."
