"We had a great stay at this hotel it was close to the Greek Theater. The bed was comfortable the balcony was a nice touch. They don’t have their own parking and you can’t stay in the parking lot that belongs to the grocery store next door. We still managed to find good parking close and the car was safe. Were definitely going to stay here again!"

"Very clean. Quiet. Staff was friendly and responsive when we had a problem with television reception. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices of hot food and cold cereals and breads/bagels/english muffins. Ample free parking. Very convenient to Berkeley restaurants and shopping and to the freeways. Just a mile away is the Marina with walking trails next to the Bay in the park. Beautiful. Only 1/2 hour into SF across the Bay Bridge."

"Come for the location and friendly front desk. Don’t come for the shower (weak, inconsistent temperature), or breakfast coffee efficiency (stood in a queue for 15 mins in lobby to get a cup of coffee). They are redoing the restaurant so maybe some steps in a positive direction, but rooms feel dark and old. Outdated bathrooms. "

"Beds were vwry comfortable and pillows. Very clean and courteous staff. We had one issue with the ac but they were on top of fixing it very quickly.8 Breakfast was good and they had alot of options. "I did have a great stay here with some minor caveats. The early check-in at 2 for $30 is not my favorite. Although my king bed room was truly giant (bigger than a few apartments I've lived in) there were no windows to the outside world (only a small one to the hallway/walkway, right at eye level for anyone outside if my blinds were open.) The sound proofing left a lot to be desired - with laminate floors and a large gap under the door, you can hear even the quietest of sounds. Their bed was...

"The best part of this motel is the safety! All rooms and parkings are gated, especially in this unsafe and limited street parking town! The Rooms are clean and spacious! Although no breakfast provided and no microwave, it’s easy to find a place to eat in a walking distance. With this price in Oakland Broadway, this is a nice place to stay. I will stay in this place next time when I come to Oakland. "
