"The room on the main floor facing the front was big and had two beds (one double one single). The bathroom and beds were clean but the mattress of the double bed was not comfortable at all and we'd get a strange smell sometimes. It was Ok though, we enjoyed our stay!"

"Really nice hotel; very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice: it had a separate bath and shower. Made full use of the pool (small and oddly shaped, but sufficient for a dip), sauna (which was nice and hot) and gym (small, but top quality technogym equipment and more than enough to get a good workout. Breakfast was also good. Can’t really fault it, other than two single beds pushed together to make a double bed, but they easily slid apart."

"We stayed at this hotel on the 1st leg of our trip around Scotland and it was a great start of the overall wonderful trip. It is located in the city center within 10 min walk from all major sites: the Edinburgh castle, Royal Mile, and others. Our room was spacious, well maintained, and had everything we needed. The only small issue was low water pressure and rather unstable temperature in the shower. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as there are plenty of less expensive restaurant and coffee shop options for different tastes."
