"It was a pleasant stay at The Queens Hotel. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The position is perfect for visiting the Temple, overlooking the lake in Kandy but the traffic noise is incredible. Yes you are right in the heart of the city so not unexpected but trying to sleep is not easy. Room was clean and adequate and probably once was quite something but now old fashioned and very basic.
